Farnood is Jaun Elia in prose — the essays and articles he wrote for magazines and journals between arriving in Pakistan in 1958 and his death in 2002.

Compiled posthumously by Khalid Ansari from work scattered across four decades of periodicals. It shows the reading and the argument behind the poetry, and a mind that was never only a poet's.
