Terms & Conditions

These terms apply whenever you browse or buy from BookMaster.pk. By placing an order you accept them. They sit alongside our Shipping & Returns and Privacy Policy pages, which form part of this agreement.

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. We confirm your order by email and, where needed, by phone or WhatsApp. A sale is only complete once we dispatch the order.

We may decline or cancel an order — for example if a title is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or the delivery address cannot be served. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you get a full refund.

All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include any applicable tax. Prices can change at any time, but the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay.

We currently accept Cash on Delivery only, available nationwide at no extra charge. We do not accept card payments and never ask for card details — if anyone requests them in our name, it is not us. Please do not share card or banking information with anyone claiming to represent BookMaster.

Book prices and editions can differ from the publisher's recommended price. Occasionally a listing may show an incorrect price; where the error is obvious we will contact you before dispatch rather than charge it.

Orders placed before 2 PM are dispatched the same day on business days. Delivery is typically 2–4 business days via TCS or Leopards Courier, and a tracking number is emailed once your order is dispatched.

Delivery is free on orders over Rs 5,000; below that a flat charge of Rs 250 applies. Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees — couriers can be delayed by weather, strikes or public holidays, and we are not liable for delays outside our control.

We accept returns on undamaged books within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item was sent in error.

If a book arrives damaged or is the wrong title, WhatsApp us at 0313-2770017 within 48 hours with a photo and your order code, and we will arrange a replacement or a full refund. Full details are on the Shipping & Returns page.

Orders are Cash on Delivery, so there is no card payment to reverse. Refunds are paid directly by bank transfer, Easypaisa or JazzCash, and are issued within 7 days of the returned book reaching us, once its condition has been checked. We will request your account or wallet details at that point — we never ask for card or PIN details.

We describe every book as accurately as we can, but covers, editions and printings change — the edition supplied may differ slightly in cover design from the image shown. Where an edition or printing matters to you, please check with us before ordering.

Listing a title does not guarantee availability. If a book turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will tell you and cancel that line.

You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for orders placed through your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it. You can request deletion of your account at any time.

Please don't use the site to place fraudulent orders, scrape the catalogue in bulk, interfere with its operation, or resell our listings and images as your own. We may suspend accounts used this way.

The BookMaster name, site design, and our own photography and written descriptions belong to us. Book titles, cover artwork and publisher content remain the property of their respective publishers and authors.

Our responsibility for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect losses — for example missed exams, coursework deadlines or business losses arising from a late delivery. Nothing here limits any right you have under Pakistani consumer law.

We may update these terms; the version published when you order is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
