Baba Sahiba

Baba Sahiba gathers Ashfaq Ahmed's writing on the figure that runs through all his later work — the baba, the teacher who is not a scholar.

He did not assemble the book himself. His wife, the novelist Bano Qudsiya, collected the pieces and published them after his death, which makes it both a book by him and a portrait of him by the person who knew him longest.
